One of the most important concerns of all countries is risk management in order to achieve sustainable development. One of the most important types of risks that has created many challenges throughout the world in recent years is subsidence.
Land subsidence is the gentle subsidence of the land or the rapid subsidence of parts of the earth's surface due to the accumulation of sediments as a result of the movement of subsurface materials. Subsidence can be due to natural and human factors. Areas affected by subsidence have a very worrying situation from socio-economic, environmental and security perspectives. The phenomenon of subsidence is the most important hazard that lies under the feet of people and the danger is becoming more serious day by day to the point that it can be said that the warning stage has passed and practical measures must be taken. The need to pay attention to this phenomenon and its consequences is not hidden from anyone. Identifying areas exposed to subsidence and providing operational solutions can prevent its irreparable dangers, which must be addressed seriously.
Due to the publication of the abstract booklet in English, abstracts must be submitted in English.
